Mr. WILLIAM ANEURIN JONES

Mr. Aneurin Jones is a solicitor of the Supreme Court

of Judicature in England and an advocate and solicitor

of the Supreme Court of the Straits Settlements. He

was appointed as Assistant Crown Solicitor in February, 1937

and since then he has acted as Land Officer, Superintendent

of Inland Revenue, Estate Duty Commissioner and Collector

of Stamp Revenue. He has occupied the post of Land Officer

since May, 1946, and has shown himself to be a capable

officer. He is now 44 years of age.
